SOBRAGA, founded in 1966 by Pierre Castel together with the Gabonese government; part of the French Castel group. The first brewery was in Libreville, moved to Owendo in 1987. Further plants in Franceville (1971), Port-Gentil (1972), Oyem (1976) and Mouila (1983). Its flagship beer is Régab; also Castel Beer (since 1970), 33 Export and Guinness. Today the name reads Société des Boissons Rafraîchissantes du Gabon. unverified info
