How it works
Abdysh-Ata LLC was created in 2000 at Kant, east of Bishkek, on the site of the Kant sugar plant, which the company dates to 1929; sugar was made until 1984, then biscuits. It started with a few crates of the experimental beer Nashe, sold in December 2000, and grew into one of the two largest breweries in the country (about 2.5 times smaller than Arpa in 2008). The unpasteurised Zhivoe followed in May 2008. The company also makes soft drinks and had 1,000 to 1,400 employees in 2026; a cooperation agreement with Baltika was signed in March 2024. unverified info
