Country: no Norway
Closed in 2022 — no longer brewing at its old place

Christianssands Bryggeri (CB) was planned by the consul Ole Jacob Mørch in 1856 and sold in 1859 to the consul Jørgen Christiansen, who finished it; production began in autumn 1859 and the Christiansen family ran it until 1964. Owned by Tou in Stavanger 1964-1990, later by Sørlandsvekst, from 1993 by Spendrups and from 1999 by Hansa Borg. Known for its dark Christmas soda. Hansa Borg announced the closure of the Kristiansand brewery in March 2022 (28 employees); the CB brands go on, brewed elsewhere. unverified info
