## About

Not a beer brewery: Fentimans, in Hexham, Northumberland, makes botanically brewed soft drinks. Thomas Fentiman, an iron puddler from Cleckheaton, got the recipe for ginger beer in 1905 in settlement of an unpaid loan and sold it door to door.
