## About

Daniel Batham's family brewery at the Delph, Brierley Hill, in the Black Country, dated to 1877 (the Brewery History Society says 1882); all brewing was moved to Brierley Hill in 1905 and the Delph Brewery, bought from the Attwood family, is still used. Best Bitter won Champion Beer of Britain's bitter category in 1991. Six generations of the family have run it; it has 12 pubs.
