How it works
Da Nang was named, with Hai Phong, as the next site of the Castel group's plan of the mid-1990s after the brewery at Tien Giang. In August 2006 Foster's agreed to sell its breweries in Da Nang and Tien Giang with the Larue, BGI and Song Han brands to Asia Pacific Breweries (Heineken) for US$105 million. The Heineken Vietnam plant in Hoa Khanh Industrial Park (Street No. 6 and No. 2, 7.7 hectares) has run since 2007 and brews Heineken, Tiger and Larue; its DN 5.0 expansion was contracted on 28 November 2023. unverified info
