## About

Kazbegi beer of Tbilisi, founded in 1994 by Gogi Topadze, who bought the second Tbilisi brewery at an auction. The old brewery site on Uznadze street goes back to the German Friedrich Wetzel in the 1870s. Today the maker is Global Beer Georgia (Kazbegi, ShaviLomi, Kayaki), 80 percent owned by Royal Swinkels, brewing in Tsilkani since 2017.
