Formed by the merger of Aviemore Brewery with Tomintoul Brewery, which had begun brewing in 1993 in an 18th-century watermill and was taken over by Aviemore Brewery in 2000; the combined firm became Cairngorm Brewery in 2001. It is on the Dalfaber industrial estate in the Cairngorms National Park and donates to the Highland Tiger Project through its Wildcat beer. unverified info
