Started in 2005 by Luke Nicholas, head brewer of Steam Brewing Company, as a contract brand brewed at Steam in Otahuhu, Auckland. Steam sold the Epic brand to Nicholas in October 2007. Exports from 2009 (Australia), then the United States, Sweden, Belgium and Italy. Armageddon IPA, Epic Pale Ale, Hop Zombie. Went into liquidation on 25 July 2023 and was bought on 25 August 2023 by the Russell Group and Hancocks, with Luke and Wendy Nicholas staying. unverified info
