How it works
A brewery in Oirschot, North Brabant. After a fire in 1623 four breweries stood on the market square; one moved to the Koestraat and passed to Jan de Kroon in 1785 and stayed in the De Kroon family. It brewed pilsner from 1910 and took over the only other Oirschot brewery in 1916. In 2000 Kroonbier and the brewing process were sold to Bavaria in Lieshout because there was no successor. Brewing at Koestraat 20 later restarted under the name Vandeoirsprong. unverified info
