How it works
Brewery on Strada Mihail Sadoveanu in Bălți that dates itself from 1906; the Romanian Wikipedia says it was built that year by the German firm Topf. In the Soviet period it brewed Zhigulevskoe beer and lemonade and was rebuilt with new equipment in the mid-1990s. As SA Arcașul it became the Moldovan-Czech Beermaster SA in 2002. It makes five kinds of unpasteurised beer and has a pub and a shop at the site. unverified info
