## About

Original Ittinger Klosterbräu was developed in 1982 by the Kartause Ittingen foundation with the Actienbrauerei Frauenfeld of Martin Wartmann, the first Swiss monastery beer and the first Swiss amber beer; hops grow at the Kartause. The brand later passed to Heineken Switzerland and is brewed in Lucerne.
